During the journey, introduction by the guide driver to the Palace history and to the Sun king, Louis XIV, century. Free time to visit the garden, the Grand canal, the Trianons, the Queen hamlet, discovery of the castle architecture, and visit of the Grands Apartments, of the Ices Gallery, of the Battles Gallery and a last tour around the impressive garden of the most beautiful palace in the world.

FONTAINEBLEAU CASTLE and BARBIZON, 4 hours

The guide will make an introduction about the Fontainebleau castle history. It was built at the XIIth century in one of the most beautiful woods of the region, and has been during 8 centuries one of the residence frequented by those kings, queens or emperors of France which passion was the hunting. Visit of the castle and its gardens. On the way back, a stop will be made at Barbizon, charming village which has given its name to a Painting School founded by Millet, Corot, Rousseau and many others...

VAUX-LE-VICOMTE CASTLE, 5 hours
Daily, at 9.00 AM. and at 2.00 PM.
There are two elements of major significance that contribute to Vaux le Vicomte's lasting fame. Vaux was the tragic setting for the downfall of Fouquet, a faithful minister who paid the price of life imprisonment, because of an embezzlement he did not commit, because of the jealousy of others and also because he went a little too far in bestowing lavish hospitality. For a period of ten years under Fouquet's protection, Vaux was also a haven for leading French artists. Writers, poets, painters and sculptors gave the best of their talents to the glory of Vaux.

GIVERNY -The Claude Monet house- and VETHEUIL, 5 hours
From April 1st to October 31st, 2008. Daily at 9.00 AM. and at 2.00 PM. except on Monday.
Located 80 km West from Paris in the village of Giverny, 4 km from the town of Vernon, Claude Monet House and Gardens are open to visitors to admire the water lily pond, the Japanese bridge, the flower garden and more.
Free visit of the house where Monet lived through from 1883 to 1926. It has been completely renewed and finished as it was in the past. Free visit of the interior to admire the collection of Japanese prints, the painting atelier, the vast kitchen and other pieces. The gardens have been also faithfully restored: the Norman fence of rectilinear tracing where flowers and colours are harmoniously mixed, according to the taste of the painter-gardener. And farther, the water garden with its famous Japanese bridge where appear glycines, azaleas, and the pond covered of water-lilies. On the way back, stop in Vetheuil: a village situated at the edge of the river Seine that was frequented by impressionists painters and where Monet lived for some time.

AUVERS-SUR-OISE -Looking for Van Gogh-, 5 hours
Daily, at 9.00 AM. and at 2.00 PM.
Auvers-sur-Oise is located 27.2 km. (16.9 miles) from the center of Paris. It is associated with several famous artists, the most prominent being Vincent van Gogh.
Throughout the 19th century a number of painters lived and worked in Auvers-sur-Oise, including Paul Cézanne, Charles-François Daubigny, Camille Pissarro, Jean-Baptiste-Camille Corot and of course, Vincent van Gogh.
Visit of the town where Van Gogh committed suicide. The places related with his short life here are: the Ravoux Inn, the House of Doctor Gachet, the Main Hall, the little church, the fields where he used to paint and his grave together with that of his brother Theo,
who died six months later.

One day in the Palace and in the park of Versailles in the footsteps of Marie-Antoinette.
Versailles is more than a Palace surrounded with beautiful gardens. It also has a huge park where one can discover two lovely castles named Grand and Petit Trianons, former summer residences for
the Kings who loved to rest and forget about the « Etiquette » of the Court.
In the morning, guided visit to the State Apartments of the Palace (Hall of Mirrors, King's Bedroom, Queen's Bedroom…) and free time. Guided walk in the beautiful gardens and free time for lunch.
In the afternoon, you will visit the Grand Trianon and stroll in the park up to Marie-Antoinette's Hamlet, the fancy farm where she loved to welcome her best friends and play at shepherding. In her
theatre, she used to go on the stage. She certainly lived there the best hours in her life.

AUVERS-SUR-OISE. Visit of the village where Vincent Van Gogh spent his two last months before dying, the Doctor Gachet house, the bedroom of Van Gogh in the Ravoux hostel - become popular by this famous painter who were ling there sometimes before committing suicide, - the church of Auvers - famous thanks to one of its paintings, the cemetery with the tombs of the brothers Van Gogh : Vincent and Theo.
In the afternoon, visit of the Chateau d'Auvers where a promenade show invites you on a genuine « Voyage into the time of the Impressionists ». There, you will learn the birth and flowering of one of the most important artistic movements. The great
masters of Impressionism are unveiled through settings and scenes amid 600 paintings screened on the walls and commented in English by audioguides.
