From April 1st to October 31, 2008: Daily (Except on Monday and May 1). Departure at 9.15 AM. and 2.00 PM.
From November 1st, 2008 to March 31st, 2009: Daily (Except on Monday, on the 1st Sunday of the month, December 25 and January 1). Departure: at 9.15 AM. and 1.45 PM. Duration around 4.00 hours (Drive-time included).
Tour accompanied by an hostess. No guide. Individual earphones with recorded commentary in Versailles Palace in English and many others languages.
At Versailles, free time with audioguide to visit the State Apartments (Hall of Mirrors,…) and stroll around the palace and in the gardens.

The gardens of Versailles and their amazing fountains just like they were in the time of Louis XIV.
Guided visit of the Palace and gardens. The musical fountain display revives the reign of King Louis XIV. He ordered remarkable works in order to provide the fountains and the ponds with 1,333 gallons of water necessary to one and a half hour fountain display.
This tour includes:
Guided visit to the State Apartments (Hall of Mirrors, King's and Queen's bedrooms) and guided walking tour through the gardens and groves, from fountain to fountain, with a musical background playing the famous baroque arias. Palace and gardens entrance fees included.
N.B. The playing time of the fountains and water displays may be shortened during drought conditions.

Recognized as a World Heritage site by UNESCO, Chartres is famous for its wonderful stained-glass windows and its statuary.
The Cathedral is still today an important centre for Christian pilgrims who come to worship the Virgin's veil. It is also very famous for the wonderful colours of its windows dating back to the 12th and 13th centuries, especially the « Blue of Chartres ».
This tour includes:
Drive through the Beauce flat open countryside. Guided visit to the cathedral* (Outside visit in case of mass) and free time to stroll around.

Discover this royal hunting lodge where the memory of Napoleon 1st is still alive.
The Fontainebleau palace, lavishly built and furnished in Renaissance period style, was a favourite hunting residence of the French Kings. The apartments occupied by Napoleon and those occupied by Pope Pius VII were recently restored and are included in our tour. Barbizon has been known as an artistic centre since the 19th century thanks to Jean-François Millet and his friends-painters. Nowadays, Barbizon is a residential village, located at the edge of the Fontainebleau forest.
This tour includes:
A guided visit to the palace, free time to see its gardens, a drive past Barbizon and a part of the Fontainebleau forest renowned for its sandstone rocks.

- GIVERNY, Monet at home:   67 € - Reservation required
With licensed guide in English and French.

Let us drive you to Monet's home and discover his studio and the places of his inspiration.
Inspired by the beautiful, peaceful and colourful countryside of Giverny, Claude Monet settled here in 1883 for the rest of his life.
This tour includes:
A guided visit to the wonderful flower gardens, and the famous Japanese bridge. Free time is given to visit Monet's home and former studio. The afternoon finishes with either shopping or strolling up to the Museum of American Art (Special tariff granted to the Cityrama customers).

One day in the Palace and in the park of Versailles in the footsteps of Marie-Antoinette.
Versailles is more than a Palace surrounded with beautiful gardens. It also has a huge park where one can discover two lovely castles named Grand and Petit Trianons, former summer residences for the Kings who loved to rest and forget about the « Etiquette » of the Court.
In the morning, guided visit to the State Apartments of the Palace (Hall of Mirrors, King's Bedroom, Queen's Bedroom…) and free time. Guided walk in the beautiful gardens down to the restaurant « la Petite Venise », located near the Grand Canal in the park.
In the afternoon, you will visit the Grand Trianon and stroll in the park up to Marie-Antoinette's Hamlet, the fancy farm where she loved to welcome her best friends and play at shepherding. In her theatre, she used to go on the stage. She certainly lived there the best hours in her life.

- AUVERS-sur-OISE and GIVERNY, Back to the Impressionist period:   113 €

From April 1st to October 26, 2008: On Wednesday and Sunday. Departure at 8.00 AM. Return at around 5.30 PM.
Visit the charming villages of Auvers-sur-Oise and Giverny which inspired Vincent Van Gogh and Claude Monet.
Vincent Van Gogh spent the last months of his life at Auvers before he died in 1890 and was buried in the small cemetery of the village. Claude Monet lived at Giverny from 1883 until his death in 1926. In his time, thousands of American painters came to France to discover the new French artistic trends and many settled at Giverny.
This tour includes:
A guided visit to the village of Auvers-sur-Oise and to Van Gogh's grave. Free time to take pictures of the Auberge Ravoux where Van Gogh stayed. After a drive through the impressionist scenery, lunch (Drinks included) will be served at the Terra Café of the Museum of American Art of Giverny. Free time to visit the museum (Entrance fees included). Then, you will visit with your guide the gardens of the Fondation Claude Monet before entering on your own Monet's home and studio. In one day, you will visit Claude Monet's home and gardens at Giverny and the fabulous Palace of Versailles, with an included lunch at an old mill.
Claude Monet spent half of his life in Giverny. His pink house has once again found its colourful « décor » and original charm together with its priceless collection of Japanese prints. The studio and gardens have been faithfully reconstructed: in front of the house, Le Clos Normand - the wonderful flower garden - leads down to the water garden with its Japanese bridge and water-lilies that so inspired the impressionist artist.
Versailles, vast Palace, built for Louis XIV to symbolize his power and the influence of France, bears witness to the luxurious court and the artistic genius of the 17th and the 18th centuries.
The excursion includes:
