Drive to Giverny to visit Monet’s beloved residence and gardens. You will discover the Japanese bridge, the water garden and the pictorial world of this genius of the Impressionism. Visit of the new “Musée des Impressionnismes Giverny” followed by a lunch at the authentic “Moulin de Fourges” (drink included).
The afternoon is dedicated to the visit of Auvers-sur-Oise. Guided tour of the village where Vincent Van Gogh lived the last hundred days of his life and where he painted some of his most famous paintings.
Lastly, the visit of the Auberge Ravoux will enable you to discover Van Gogh’s bedroom.

Castle and Great Stables of Chantilly
From April 1 to October 31, 2010. Wednesdays and Saturdays, at 8.30 AM.

Your day to discover Chantilly will begin by a guided visit of the Castle of Chantilly. Located in the Castle, the Condé Museum presents, respecting the orignal hanging of the 19th century, the second most important collection of paintings and drawings of France.
At the end of the morning, lunch (drinks included) will take place in Vatel's old kitchens located in the cellards of the Chantilly castle.
The afternoon begins with a discovery of gardens followed by a guided visit of the Great Stables of Chantilly. Legends tell that the prince Louis-Henri de Bourbon, 7th Prince of Condé, thought he would be reincarned as a horse, so he wanted stables that would reflect the majesty of his rank.
At the end of the day you will assist to the equiestrian show of the "Living Horse Museum", where horse riders perform in traditional costumes.

BARBIZON, FONTAINEBLEAU AND VAUX LE VICOMTE: 166 € -

The day starts with the visit of Barbizon, famous since the 19th century thanks to artists such as Millet, Rousseau and Stevenson.
You will then cross the forest to the Castle of Fontainebleau, favourite residence of French kings and emperors during eight centuries. An audio-guide tour inside the castle will be followed by some free time in the gardens.
Then off to Vaux le Vicomte, Nicolas Fouquet's masterpiece which inspired considerably Louis XiV when he built the palace of Versailles.
After lunch on site (included)and an audio-guide tour (provided in English) of the main rooms of the Castle. The day ends with free time to stroll through the gardens and the carriage museum.
