Day 1. PARIS/ BLOIS/ AMBOISE/ CLOS-LUCE/ VILLANDRY/ TOURS
BLOIS. During the XVI century it was the favourite residence of the French monarchy, Louis XII was born here in 1462,
where he spent the first years of his life. AMBOISE. This city knew success in the XV century at the time of François I. it was here, at the CLOS-LUCE, that the French king housed Leonardo da Vinci at the end of his life. VILLANDRY. It is one of the last castles built along the river Loire during the Renaissance, it distinguishes itself by its rectangular buildings taking place instead of former round towers, as well as by its gardens that are considered as the most beautiful of France. TOURS. It is located between the rivers Loire and Cher. Visit of the « Vieux Tours », around the Plumereau square, and the St Martin basilica, which was an important pilgrimage place.

Day 2. TOURS/ CHENONCEAU/ CHEVERNY/ CHAMBORD/ PARIS
CHENONCEAU. The Castle of the Ladies. It has been inhabited by 6 ladies, but only 3 of them have glorified this castle: Catherine de Briçonet, Diane de Poitiers and Catherine de Medicis. CHEVERNY. Castle presenting a notable style, built in the XVII century. It has a very interesting and nice inside decoration. CHAMBORD. Impressive masterpiece of François I, it was the first representation of the architectural megalomania, which will be well represented in the Versailles palace. PARIS Arrival at the end of the day. End of services
