- COTE d´AZUR, the ALPS and PROVENCE
S.M.S.: sea, mountain and sun, it is like this that we define the South-East. It is
so nice to make walks along the sea on the « Promenade des Anglais » in Nice or on the « Croistte » in Cannes, or visit Grasse: capital of the perfumers, or stroll in the Marseilles streets facing the old port, or make a cruise to admire the Calanques in Cassis... And, go to the North, via the « Route de Napoleon » to discover the Alps with its famous ski resorts such as Chamonix or Megeve, or to admire the « Mer de Glace », or visit surprising cities as Grenoble or Annecy... And returning to the South, make a stop in Lyons, the gastronomical capital of France, to visit it and taste a nice Beaujolais wine in the area of its production. In Orange, admire its roman vestiges as the Antique Theater; in Avignon, visit the palace of the Popes and in its environs admire the famous roman bridge: the « Pont du Gard ». Its climate, its richness, its colours and its unique character
make of the South-East, a region where it is so nice to live!
