Tour in Champagne, Lorraine and Burgundy - 5 days

Day 1. PARIS/ EPERNAY/ REIMS
EPERNAY. This city, known by its champagne production, is built above subterranean galleries where famous old bottles lie down. We suggest a visit with champagne tasting in the Moet and Chandon cellar. REIMS. It was, since the baptism of Clovis in the year 500, the city of the consecrations of French Kings. The Notre-Dame cathedral is a masterpiece of the Gothic art .
Accommodation.

Day 2. REIMS/ METZ/ NANCY
METZ. The St Etienne cathedral is one of the most beautiful Gothic buildings of France, where stained-glass windows works made by Villon and Chagall can be admired. NANCY. To visit the Stanislas square surrounded by 5 pavilions with arcs and circled by astonishing iron grilles, the garden of « la Pepinnière » and the School of Nancy Museum, called like this because the action of its members to develop the « Art Nouveau » style at the end of the XIX century.

Day 3. NANCY/ VITTEL/ DIJON
VITTEL. Thermal city with an international reknown, Vittel offers a unique escapade in the nature. Possibility of visiting the Institute of the water Vittel-Perrier. DIJON. Of its former splendour when it was the capital of one of the most important kingdoms in Europe, it still preserves an exceptional cultural patrimony, such as the Palace of Dukes and of the States of Burgundy, which is nowadays a part of the Fine Arts Museum.

Day 4. DIJON. Excursion to the ROAD of the BURGUNDY WINES.
NUITS ST GEORGES. It has given its name to one of the most famous wines of
« la Côte d´Or ». BEAUNE. Surrounded by walls and towers of the XIV century. The dukes of Burgundy left there wonderful treasures, such as « l´Hôtel Dieu », which is well-known for its coloured roof-tiles. In this place, every year, the third Sunday of November, old bottles of prestigious wines are sold in public sales. Possibility of tasting Burgundy wines in a local cellar.
Breakfast and accommodation.

Day 5. DIJON/ VEZELAY/ CHABLIS/ PARIS
VEZELAY. Beautiful picturesque town built on the top of a hill that oversees the valley of the river Cure. Its basilica, master piece of the Roman art, sheltered the relics of St Madeleine. CHABLIS. This city gave its name to the famous white wine of the low part of Burgundy, which vineyards are among the most northerners of the region. PARIS. Arrival at the end of the day and end of the services.
