As she did, many visitors say this sentence after having visited Paris and swear to come back very soon! Accommodation.

This former capital of Champagne, designed in an Italian style, is particularly popular for its shops and for its houses of « champenoise » architecture. DIJON. Of its former splendour when it was the capital of one of the most important kingdoms in Europe, it still preserves an exceptional cultural patrimony, such as the Palace of Dukes and of the States of Burgundy, which is nowadays a part of the Fine Arts Museum. The dukes of Burgundy left there wonderful treasures, such as « l´Hôtel Dieu », that is well-known for its coloured roof-tiles. In this place, every year, the third Sunday of November, old bottles of prestigious wines are sold in public sales. Possibility of tasting Burgundy wines in a local cellar. Breakfast and accommodation.

Day 4. DIJON/ COLMAR/ STRASBOURG
COLMAR. Wonderful and charming city where the whole Alsace is summarised. The square of the « Ancienne Douane », the « rue des Marchands », and the « rue Mercière » are the heart of the old part of the city. STRASBOURG. Capital of Alsace. City of the Parliament and Council of Europe. To visit « la Petite France », very well conserved historical area with houses of Renaissance style, the Gutenberg square and the Cathedral, a Gothic masterpiece, was built in pink stones of the Vosges and has a tower of 142 meters height Breakfast and accommodation.

Contrarily to what the other French vineyards regions do, the wines produced in this region are known according to the type of grape used to elaborate them. RIQUEWHIR. This town has not changed since the XVI and XVII centuries. It is famous for its Riesling production, one of the best vintages of the region. Breakfast and accommodation.

Day 6. STRASBOURG/ NANCY/ REIMS
NANCY. To visit the Stanislas square; surrounded by 5 pavilions with arcs and circled by astonishing iron grilles, the garden of « la Pepinnière » and the School of Nancy Museum, called like this because the action of its members to develop the « Art Nouveau » style at the end of the XIX century.
