Day 1. BORDEAUX/ ST JEAN DE LUZ/ BIARRITZ/ BAYONNE
ST JEAN DE LUZ. It was the marriage town of king Louis XIV with the Infant Maria-Theresa, on June 9 of 1660. It is now an important and colourful fishing port. BIARRITZ. Thanks to the beauty of this place, its modern facilities, its confortable hotels, and its several sport activities, it is a summer resort and a touristic place of first category. BAYONNE. It is the most important city in the basin of the Adour river and the main departing point for the different tours to the Pyrenees.
Accommodation.

Day 2. BAYONNE/ PAU/ LOURDES
PAU. Birthplace of king Henry IV. We suggest a visit of the castle where this king was born and a stroll along the boulevard of the Pyrenees. LOURDES. On February 11 of 1858, in the grotto of Massabielle, took place the first of the 18 apparitions of the Virgin to Bernadette Soubirou. To visit the religious area, formed by the processions esplanade, the subterranean Church Pio X, the Crypt, the Rosary basilica, the Miracle Grotto of Massabielle, the Fountains with Lourdes water and the Calvary road.

Day 3. LOURDES/ TOULOUSE/ CARCASSONNE
TOULOUSE. The pink city, « La Ville Rose », named like this because of the colour of its bricks, Toulouse was since the Middle Ages an important cultural and artistic city. To visit the St Sernin basilica, the Jacobins church and the Capitol square. CARCASSONNE. It is formed by the « Cité », located at the top of a hill and all surrounded by walls; beautiful and exceptional master piece of the Middle Ages architecture, and the low town, where is the modern urban centre, built alongside the Aude river.

Day 4. CARCASONNE/ALBI/ SARLAT
ALBI. It is a particular place thanks to its medieval atmosphere and its red coloured houses. Between the end of the XII and the middle of the XIII century, it was the centre of the heretical cathar movement. To visit the St Cecile cathedral and the Toulouse-Lautrec museum, where can be seen more than 600 of his paintings. SARLAT. Capital of Black Perigord. Its former part has been completely restored in 1964, thanks to that its wonderful Middle-Age and Renaissance architecture can be better appreciated.

Day 5. SARLAT. Excursion to ROCAMADOUR and DOMME
ROCAMADOUR. Important pilgrimage place during the XII and XIII centuries. Small village built in a surprising place in the canyon of the Alzou river, and located on 3 levels. To visit the basilicas consecrated to St Amadour and to the mysterious Black Virgin. DOMME. Built on a rocky promontory dominating the Dordogne river, it is one of the most beautiful and spectacular towns in France.

Day 6. SARLAT/ LASCAUX/ PERIGUEUX/ POITIERS
LASCAUX. To visit the Lascaux replica grotto which is a subterranean gallery covered by polychrome paintings made by prehistorical artists 17 000 years earlier. PERIGUEUX. The capital of Perigord, with several notorious monuments, is specially appreciated by gastronomy lovers because of its truffles and its « foie gras » production. POITIERS. Place of violent battles, like the one of Charles Martel against the Arabs in 732. The basilica « Notre Dame la Grande » is a master piece of the Roman « poitevin » art of the XII century.

Day 7. POITIERS. Full day visit to the European Park FUTUROSCOPE
FUTUROSCOPE. It was inaugurated in 1987 and it is situated at the north of Poitiers. It is the park of the Image and Communication. It presents in its different futurist constructions, attractions about all those technologies. Some of the attractions are : CyberWorld, the Wings of the Courage, Space Station 3D, Destination Cosmos, la Vienna Dynamic, the Magic Tapestry, Image Studio, Colours of Brazil. We suggest to attend to the night show, if there is one.

Day 8. POITIERS/ COGNAC/ ST EMILION/ BORDEAUX
COGNAC. François I, the Queen Catalina de Medicis, the Queen Margot and many other important characters of the French History are related to this city. Besides that, it produces one of its most prestigious alcoholic drinks: cognac. We suggest a visit and cognac tasting in the castle where king François I was born. ST EMILION. Its name evokes one of the most selected red wines in Bordeaux. This Medieval village, built like an amphitheatre, is all surrounded by its famous vineyards. BORDEAUX. Arrival at the end of the day and end of the services.
