The sacred city of Reims is the capital of the Champagne region
and known throughout the world for its sparkling wine: champagne. Reims is also the city of coronations, most of the French Kings were crowned there.
Our morning orientation tour of Reims includes a guided visit of the Gothic Cathedral. At the superb Mumm champagne cellars, created in 1827, keeping 25 million bottles, we complete the visit with a tasting of the famous Cordon Rouge Champagne wine. Free time for lunch.
In the afternoon, enjoy the picturesque landscape of vines between Reims and Epernay. At Epernay, we visit the prestigious wines cellars of Moet & Chandon* and we taste their reputed wine.

In Chablis, the rich land of Burgundy, savour the fruit of its wine growers' know-how, and admire Vezelay, recognized as a World heritage site by Unesco.
The Burgundy region offers a natural heritage, rich in both history and specially in art. Since ancient times, its geographical position brought great prosperity as its famous wines magnified during the Middle Ages. Region of famous abbeys, departure point for the crusades and pilgrimage centre, Burgundy has attracted the crowds and political figureheads throughout the centuries. We are going to discover two aspects:
After leaving the Southern highway, we reach the Serein valley at Chablis, surrounded by vineyards: visit to the Michel Laroche cellar and taste the white wine, one of the world's best.
Lunch in the « Bistrot des Grands Crus », drinks are not included.
Continue to Vezelay, the « eternal hill », village classified by UNESCO as one of its cultural world heritage site.
Guided visit to the basilica dedicated to Saint Mary Madeleine, centre of Romanesque architecture and sculpture, which keeps some relics of the Saint.
Free time to browse around the village and opportunity of tasting some red wines of Burgundy before returning to Paris.

Discover the « garden of france » and three of its elegant castles.
During the Renaissance period, the Loire valley was the favourite place of the kings of France and their courtiers. They left us many castles of amazing architectural elegance. Art and history mingle with a certain sweetness of life in this country called « The Garden of France ».

Chambord*: visit to the royal castle, the largest one in the middle of a vast park.
Chenonceau: guided visit of this elegant Renaissance castle thanks to its bridge-gallery spanning the Cher river.

With the TGV train, enjoy the Provence region: its brigh light, its picturesque villages and its old monuments.
Over the centuries, Provence was the chosen home of many. First, the Romans, then the Popes followed by many artists and now, living there is quite fashionable. Today thanks to the TGV, world's fastest train, you can easily discover this delightful region, the brightness of its light, the vividness of its colours and the charms of its traditions.
Transfer from the Cityrama terminal to the Gare de Lyon. Board the TGV train. on 2nd class waggon. After covering 700 km -440 miles-
in 2h40 through Burgundy and Rhone Valley, arrive to Avignon to first visit the Pope's Palace -entrance and audioguide included-.
Free time to stroll around the town and have a drink or lunch at a sidewalk café.
Then with your guide, you will leave the banks of the Rhone and the famous Bridge of Avignon and drive to the lovely village of Saint Remi de Provence -stop for photos-.
