BELGIUM

Belgium is an unusual country, especially when we know that for the Belgians "not, maybe" means "yes" and "yes, certainly" can mean "no". But, there is a thing to know when you stay there! Belgium is the home country of Art nouveau and comic strips.
Belgium is also the country of famous writers such as Simenon, Suzanne Lilar, Guy Vaes among others, as well as draftsmen as Hergé, Franquin and others who have erected a statue to the paper heroes such as Tintin or Gaston Lagaffe.

It is maybe the rainy climate which allowed the surrealism to develop! But, Belgium is also a country of surprising linguistic, political, cultural, philosophic and geographic divisions; the absurd which reigns there is an evidence! To be a true “Belgian” it is necessary to know that resistance to the authority is a principle, that humour is a language and absurd an identity!

Seen from the outside, Belgium is as a triangle: three regions, three communities, three languages, a border and “wars of languages”. Capital of the mussels, beer and chocolate, its gastronomy remains a sure value for tourism. Come and discover a country where nothing seem to amaze others, where your naturalness is your best asset and dive into a reality which seems to be in harmony with dreams!

Bruges
Behind the concrete wall of the East Coast, the back country offers the charm of its plains, its farms and its castles. Villages concentrate around their churches which lend themselves to futuristic architecture and urbanization.

Flemish artists, ancient and modern artists, have left their imprints, but we can only find them in Bruges. Thanks to an important cultural patrimony, Bruges has known a rebirth with the development of the tourism. Indeed, it is impossible to miss the “Beffroi”, the symbol of municipal liberties, the Burg, and the church of Notre-Dame.

The Venice of the North always keeps its charm, despite the flock of tourists who go trough its territory every day. Come and discover one of the most beautiful cities of Belgium, where the clock stops to give you time for a magic visit on a supernatural flavoured earth.

Brussels
One millennium of history and hundred years of urbanization have transformed the landscapes of 19 municipalities to make of Brussels a modern metropolis. Brussels is an important multi-capital: capital of Europe, Belgium, the French Community of Belgium, the community and the Flemish region, centre of the Region and Brussels-capital.

Behind its ramparts and waste lands, Brussels still hide many secrets: an old park, an 18th alley, some facades, some villas “Art Nouveau”. A lot of secrets that are waiting to be discovered and shared during a trip into the depths of a small country with a great cultural patrimony.
