ABOUT BRICENO VOYAGES,
Some words to know us better!
The travel agent profession is regulated in France.
It is compulsory to have a licence in order to practise it.
BRICENO VOYAGES has a Travel Agency licence
nr : LI 075 98 0052 delivered by the Prefecture of Paris.
A well-known Rita Mitsouko's song says « les histoires d'amour finissent mal en général...» (Love stories have a sad end in general...) But, in particular, some of them have a happy end, for instance my love story with France. It started in 1962, my first year in the Alliance Française in Lima - Peru. It's a very old story, isn't it ? For 4 years, I was dreaming to come to France. In september 1966, finally, my dream came true when I arrived to Toulouse, a very nice city at the South-West of France, to study at the Ecole Hôtelière.

(Time goes on taking with it all away...) Yes, that's true... in general ! But, in particular, sometimes memories, feelings and so on remain for ever. For instance, my love for France which is still there. That is why I want to show you and make you discover those things of this country that are so good to me !
Having worked for 4 important incoming tour-operators in Lima and in Paris since 1968 to 1998, and motivated by the wish of making a different kind of tourism
« hors sentiers battus », with the support of Cecilia, my wife, I founded in August 1998 BRICENO VOYAGES.
I could materialize at last my very old and dear dream : To help visitors to discover FRANCE and to sell organized and regional tours in all FRANCE and as well as special tours in EUROPE.
In 1999, we, as travel agency-incoming tourism, started the promotion and the selling of « FOUR REGIONAL TOURS IN FRANCE » in Latin-American
countries exclusively. Those tours departed from Paris, Bordeaux and Nice.
The clients making those tours were very satisfied. Some of them came year after year or after two years to discover another French regions. Obviously, I was happy of that result, it encouraged me to continue to work with more professionnalism and passion.
We did very well until the end of 2001. Because of the terrorist attacks in USA and in another parts of the world; the economical crisis in Brazil, in Argentine and in another Latin-American countries, the fall of the American dollar, the war in Irak, and the last but not the least: the development of the e-business, our activity of incoming tourism was very much affected in general. The small travel agency structures as our suffered the most. We were then compelled to adapt ourselves to the new situation and started to diversify our offer and look for clients in another markets. This website is the result of one of our efforts, after have learnt HTML language !
As a matter of fact, we, as travel agency-incoming tourism, have not the means, neither the pretension to compete with the numerous web brokers who can spend a lot of money, because their only target is to make money ! Our target is completely different: we offer what we know and love and what will allow you, future client, to materialize your travel dream. We will help you to discover places, to learn moments of history, to taste local savours and to add another one to your nice memories.
As you know, all that passion, love, effort and work that we put at your disposal has a cost. It makes the difference between bad and good stay or horrible and pleasant travel. For that reason, we, as travel agency-incoming tourism, inform you that if you are looking for the lowest rate and do not care about service, you should better try another website. But, if you agree to pay the « right price for the best service » for your stay or package, we both will certainly make good business and will enjoy together.
For your information, during your stay in Paris or in another French or European city, we will be at your disposal on the phone every day and 24h00/24h00, and in our office from Monday to Friday, since 09h00 am to 06h00 pm.
We hope that this will be already a proof of the difference between Briceno Voyages and the web-brokers, which have no address the most of the times...
